Rhys Jones
Winner of an Australian Cinematography Society Silver award and nominated for an outstanding achievement in Cinematography at the 2023 WA Screen and Culture Awards, Rhys enjoys working in foreign environments while quickly engaging with characters and crew, allowing a collaborative approach to story with cinematic coverage.
Having freelanced for various companies such as the ABC, VAM, Triple J, Angeleye, FredBird, WTFN, Perpetual , Electric Pictures and Prospero Productions, Rhys has worked across studio sets, bush settings in the remote Kimberley, ships out on the continental shelf to Vietnam, USA and Jamaica. Rhys has also worked on projects for Community Arts Network of WA, as well as many NGO’s and Government departments.
